Abstract :	Ο στόχος αυτής της διατριβής είναι να αποκτήσουμε βαθύτερη κατανόηση των επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων που χρησιμοποιούν οι προγραμματιστές παιχνιδιών υπολογιστών/κονσόλων και κινητών παιχνιδιών πριν και μετά την κυκλοφορία του παιχνιδιού τους. Αυτό θα επιτευχθεί με τη χρήση ενός πλαισίου για την ανάλυση και την αξιολόγηση επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων στη βιομηχανία βιντεοπαιχνιδιών. Στόχος μας είναι να συνεισφέρουμε στη βιβλιογραφία των επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων στο πλαίσιο των προγραμματιστών βιντεοπαιχνιδιών, ενώ συγκρίνουμε τις νεοσύστατες επιχειρήσεις έναντι ενός gaming unicorn και τονίζοντας την ευκαιρία τους να γίνουν ο επόμενος gaming unicorn. The goal of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of the business models employed by PC/console and mobile game developers pre and post-release of their game. This will be achieved by utilizing a framework for analyzing and evaluating business models within the video game industry. Our aim is to contribute to the business model literature within the context of gaming developers while benchmarking the start-ups against a gaming unicorn and highlighting their chance in becoming the next unicorn.

Ο στόχος αυτής της διατριβής είναι να αποκτήσουμε βαθύτερη κατανόηση των επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων που χρησιμοποιούν οι προγραμματιστές παιχνιδιών υπολογιστών/κονσόλων και κινητών παιχνιδιών πριν και μετά την κυκλοφορία του παιχνιδιού τους.
