| Abstract : | Στη παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία παρουσιάζονται βασικές έννοιες της θεωρίας ανάλυσης χρονολογικών σειρών με εφαρμογή τους σε πραγματικά δεδομένα που αφορούν οικονομικά στοιχεία από έρευνες επιχειρήσεων της ΕΛΣΤΑΤ . Συγκεκριμένα μελετήθηκαν μεταβλητές ανά κλάδο επιχειρήσεων για τα έτη 2008-2019.Το κύριο αντικείμενο μελέτης της εργασίας δεν αφορά την πρόβλεψη των μελλοντικών τιμών όπως συνηθίζεται, αλλά τη διερεύνηση του ερωτήματος εάν η αλλαγή της στατιστικής μονάδας στην έρευνα των επιχειρήσεων το 2018, επιφέρει σημαντικές αλλαγές στις τιμές των μεταβλητών. Το κύριο ερώτημα δηλαδή αφορά τη σύγκριση των δύο τρόπων συλλογής των δεδομένων, πριν και μετά την αλλαγή της στατιστικής μονάδας.
In this thesis, basic concepts of the theory of time series analysis are presented with their application to real data which concern financial data from business surveys conducted by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT). Specifically, variables were studied by business sector for the years 2008-2019.The main study object of the paper does not concern the prediction of future prices as usual, but the investigation of the question whether the change of the statistical unit in the business survey of 2018, brings about significant changes in the prices of the variables. The main question therefore concerns the comparison of the two ways of collecting the data, before and after the change of the statistical unit.
